About Corinne

Corinne White is a Suzuki violin teacher and freelance musician in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She graduated summa cum laude from Lebanon Valley College with a Bachelor Degree in both music and French. She then earned a Master of Music Degree in Violin Performance with a Concentration in Suzuki Pedagogy at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, as a student of Lenora Marya-Anop and Vera McCoy-Sulentic. She has also completed teacher training with Ed Kreitman, Susan Kempter, Linda Case, and Linda Fiore.

As a member of both the Suzuki Association of the Americas, and the Greater Philadelphia Suzuki Association, Corinne is registered to teach Suzuki Books 1 through 10. She has been teaching for over 10 years and has previously served on the faculty of the Community Music School of Webster University in St Louis, and the Suzuki Strings Program at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She now teaches in her home studio, and also performs with several local ensembles, including the York Symphony Orchestra and the Allegro Chamber Orchestra.

A strong believer in the Suzuki philosophy that “every child can develop ability,” she strives to create a nurturing and positive environment that will help all of her students to grow into caring, responsible, and music-loving adults.
